Following a lengthy battle with sarcoma cancer, Claude H. Robinson, Sr., made his transition to be with His Lord on Monday, June 19, 2023. Claude was born May 22, 1967 in Memphis TN to the union of the late Wess and Jean Robinson. He accepted Christ at an early age while attending Evanston Avenue Church of Christ throughout his childhood years, and later joined New Mount Calvary Baptist Church, where he took great pride in attending Bible study and handling the audio technology for the church under the Leadership of Pastor Columbus Clayton.
Claude leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife, Janet Evans-Robinson of Lansing, MI; one son: Claude (Chada) Robinson, Jr. of Muskegon, MI; four daughters: Sequoia (Ricardo) Hardy, Colisha Olivares both of Muskegon, MI, Tiayanna Robinson and JaNeashia Robinson both of Lansing, MI; four brothers: Carter Robinson of Albuquerque, NM; Gerry Robinson of Muskegon, MI, Clarence Robinson of West Palm Beach, FL and Galvester Robinson of Muskegon, MI; four sisters: Charlotte (Kevin) Wright of Calumet City, IL, Cerjuana (Ray) Reasonover, Gwendoly Paige, and Glenda (Cedric) Scott all of Muskegon, MI, and one sister in law, Tamela Robinson of Atlanta, GA; eleven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Claude maintained a relationship with many friends for over 40 years among them are: Ray Reasonover Jr., Steve Mitchell, Marcus Davis, Bryon Landingham and Valarie Smith, along with his two die heart friends Herbert Alford and Anthony Fryer. Likewise, Johnny Parker, who preceded him in death.
Claude was preceded in death by both parents: Wess and Jean Robinson; two brothers, Danny Robinson, Gregory Robinson, and one sister Paula Dean; both paternal and maternal grandparents.
