Debra Lynn (Spearman) Wadlington: November 19, 1955 – August 9, 2022
Debra Lynn Wadlington was born on November 19, 1955, to Joseph and Carmen (Love) Spearman. Debra devoted her life to helping others through her diverse life’s ventures, such as an Entrepreneur, First Lady, and Employment Coordinator. Debra was Founder and Co-Owner of A & D Motors; First Lady of Good Shepherd Church and she assisted the community in obtaining employment and employability skills through Construction Services, Lead Remediation and Abatement. She enjoyed her last contract job working with LINC. Debra had so much love, affection, and devotion. She looked forward to the family dinners especially the ones up North during the Holidays where she could enjoy the outdoors, sailing the pontoon boat and cooking her amazing cuisine. So many people were drawn to Debra because of her magnetic personality, and her ability to disarm you with her infectious smile. Her distinct laugh was undeniably poignant. She often left you with a smile, a few words of encouragement and wisdom and lest not forget her “Keep it Real” attitude. She had such a carefree and loving spirit, and her devotion to her family was immeasurable. Debra transitioned to her Eternal life on August 9, 2022; She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Carmen (Love) Spearman, mother-in-law; Katherine Wadlington, Great uncle Harry Leroy Johnson (Buzz), sister, Sherry Jo Spearman, sister-in-law, Tasha Ware, brother-in-law, Victor Wadlington and infant twin grandsons Justin and Jordan Spearman. Leaving to cherish her precious memories are her amazing Husband of over 30 years Pastor Allen Wadlington, Five Sons, Derrick Allen (Tiffany), Stafford, VA, Edrick Ray, Cedrick Bud Spearman, Allen (KY) and Terrance Wadlington. Three Daughters, Latasha Griffin, (KY) Kiara and Tiera Wadlington. Twenty Three Grand Children and Eighteen Great Grandchildren. Eight Sisters, Patrice (Decarto) Draper, Stacey (Eddie) Charlton, Michelle Beard, Lisa Love, Lori (Gary) Cabean Sr., Lorna (Gary) Rambo, Sherry McKinnon, and Helen (John) Blicharz of Detroit. Five Brothers; Michael, Gregory (Sabrina), Kevin, Eric (Joan) Spearman and Shawn (Virginia) McKinnon of Detroit; Four sisters-in-Law; Pastor Tammy (Bobby) Acree, Petula (Michael) Dillard, Deveda (Dana) Curlin, and Rcinia of Cadiz, Kentucky.
