Our beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend Donnell Eugene Blaylock transitioned peacefully at home Sunday February 26, 2023 surrounded by family.  He was born June 13, 1973 in Saginaw, MI to Jacqueline Marie Blaylock and Ezzard Charles Mack.

Donnell was an avid music collector. Music really spoke to his soul. It held a special place in his heart.  He had a profound passion for cooking. Grilling was his thing! His prime rib fresh off the grill was absolutely unprecedented. He was also in love with the game of basketball and would religiously tune in to his favorite sports analyst show Undisputed with Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless. He held authority as a driver for his own company Don B’s Trucking for 5 years. He also drove trucks for Master Piece Flower and was a dedicated employee.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife first love, high school sweetheart of 33 years Dawn Lashell Blaylock, Loving son Donnell Delvon Blaylock Jr., mother Jacqueline Marie Blaylock, sisters Bridgette Blaylock,  Felicia Pipkins, father in law Donald (Rosie) Graves, mother in-law Yvonne McDonald, step mother Jerry Mack, sister in-laws Carleen Arrington, Tracie & Sonya Conic, brother in-law Johnnie Conic, brothers Eric(Fly)Rance & Chesney Rance,  good friends Hector Perez, Derek Fears, Juan Lopez,  Rick Garza, his favorite barber Jose (Papo) Castillo and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and loving neighbors. 

He was preceded in death by his father Ezzard Charles Mack, sister Wanda Pipkins and best friend Rashawn Williams and grand parents Ernest and Agnes Johnson.

We would also like to give a special thanks to our amazing support system. Special Thanks to his mother Jacqueline Blaylock and Tanesha Ely. Special thanks to his father in- law Donald Graves who he affectionately called “Pops.” We wouldn’t be able to get through tough times without you all. Last but not least a special thanks to Spectrum Health Hospice and Lacks Cancer Center
