Eddie Lee Howard (Monk) was born March 7, 1956 in Jackson, Mississippi to Allen and Mary Howard. His family later moved to Muskegon, Michigan where he attended Muskegon Public Schools and worked at Kriskraft Manufacturing Company.
Eddie was a very charismatic person who was loved by everyone he encountered. He was a family man and loved spending time with his family and friends. He also shared a very special bond with his late sister, Diane. he enjoyed cracking jokes and cruising around in his Cadillac. Eddie was a great father and loved to spend time with is grandchildren. One of his favorite things to do was take his granddaughter to his church, Mt. Olive Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Mary Howard of Muskegon; one child, Sabrina Ware of Muskegon; three grandchildren, Taliyah Ware and Jayla McGhee of Muskegon, Mardrekia Cook of Lansing; one great-grandchild, Chasity Williams; four brothers. W.T. Howard, Birdeal Howard, Anthony Howard, and Joe Lee Howard all of Muskegon; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Allen Howard; brothers, U.T. and Carl Howard; sister, Diane Howard; and special nephew, W.T.. Howard Jr., Toney.
