Life Story

On Tuesday, January 17,2023, Harvey Lee Garrett our loving father, brother, and son passed away suddenly at the age of 67. He was born on July, 27, 1955, to the parents of Nesby and Bee Ethel Garrett. 

Harvey graduated from Saginaw High School in 1973. Shortly after receiving his IT certification from ITT Technical Institute. Harvey worked for many years as a service technician for Xerox Corporation before retiring. Harvey loved sci-fi movies, playing chess, singing karaoke, dancing and spending time with his loved ones.

Harvey leaves to cherish his three children,  Christopher Garrett of Milwaukee, WI, Erik (Jhin) Garrett of Atlanta, GA and Tiffany Garrett of Milwaukee, WI. He also leaves behind his sisters, Joanne (Lee) Warren, Charlotte, NC, Linda (Kelly) Piper, Grand Rapids, MI, Dee Lynn Garrett, Tulsa, OK, Tammy and Kathleen Garrett, Grand Rapids, MI and Heatherine Mims, Columbus, OH. along with his father Nesby Garrett of Saginaw, MI and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friend Hubert Williams.
