Kenneth Joesph Kemp was born on September 7, 1962, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was the sixth child of Joesph Kemp and Charlene Alber. He transitioned from this world on December 7, 2024. Kenny was preceded in death by both parents.
Kenny attended Central High School. He worked in factory and manufacturing as a machine operator for several years. Kenny shared his outgoing personality with everyone he met, there was never a dull moment.
Kenny leaves to cherish in his memory seven siblings; Mary Jo (Tim) Sliede from Florida, Susan (Brain) Youngs, Daniel Kemp, Charles (Georgia) Kemp, Steven (Debra) Kemp, Lorna (Dwight) Kemp-Miller, Gean (Tana) Alber all from Michigan.
Kenny was affectionately known as “Kenny G” by his oldest daughter Nicole Kemp who resides in Texas and Charlene Bruno who resides in South Dakota. He was a bonus father to Donquese Bruno-Richardson, Anthony and Marquis Alexander.
Kenny was overjoyed when he became a grandfather to his oldest grandchild Jae’Veon Joesph Kemp. Kenny leaves nine grandsons, two granddaughters, and three great grandchildren.
Kenny leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to remember him. Although Kenny has transitioned from this world, he will forever live in our hearts.
In honoring Kenny’s wishes, there will be no funeral services at this time. Kenny would have liked to be remembered with more laughter than tears. A future memorial service will be announced later.
