Mrs. Lillian "Fire Water" Cansler-Bettin was born September 5, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas to the union of J.C. Sr. and Beatrice Cansler. In 1956 the family moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Lillian attended Grand Rapids Public Schools and also served the Lord at Lamb of God Church. Lillian was employed for 4 years with American Seating Factory. Lillian was always active after she left American Searing Factory and loved to laugh, cook, and even slip a joke in. Lillian had a big soft heart. One thing she would ask you, "do you have $2 or some bottles". Lillian Cansler-Bettin departed this life on September 23, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents J.C. Sr. and Beatrice Cansler, brothers, Ellet Cansler, and J.C. Cansler, Jr., and granddaughter, Pomerann Cansler-Howard.
Lillian leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Timothy Bettin, daughters, Beatrice Tina Cansler, Nievee Lu-Lu Randie, and Niesha Lenea Cansler-VanBosch, grandkids, Javon Cansler-Ginns, Sade Cansler, Darren Hayes, Pomerann Randie, and Lyric Randie-Yarbrough, seven great grandkids, a host of friends and family, special friends, Ernestine Matthews, Marlene Ewing, and Dottie Calmse, and very very special friend/sister, Linda Faye Cunningham.
