Mary Harris

Mary Harris age 77 passed away at home surrounded by the love of her loving daughter Vicky Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Mary was born in Dumas, Arkansas on May 25, 1945 to Ms. Rosie Lee White and Mr. Dave Lee Hatton. Mary was the best mother and friend anyone could have.

Mary spent 27 and a 1/2 years of her life working for the Muskegon Heights Public School System starting as a Food Service Aide and completing her final years as the Lead Aide. The highlight of these years were interacting with all of the children from Lindberg School to to all of the other schools in the district that she had the opportunity to serve.

 Mary leaves to remember and miss her always her daughter Victoria Williams, a sister Geneva Poole and a host of cousins, niece's, nephew's and her dear friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Ms. Rosie Lee White and Mr. Dave Lee Hatton her first born daughter Tina Louise, her husband Billy Joe Harris, brother Levi Young and other siblings on her father's side of the family.
