Mary Ann Clark Heywood was born on April 1, 1953 in Robinsonville, Mississippi
and she was the second child of seven born to ALEX CLARK JR and Mary Gills Clark. Mary Ann went to school at Rosafort High School in Tunica, Mississippi. She has accepted Christ in her life at a young age.
Mary Ann has 6 siblings; William (deceased), Alex Clark III (deceased), Larry (Mattie May) Clark of Jacksonville Arkansas, Johnny Clark of Talladega Alabama, Mattie Clark of Horn Lake Mississippi, and Anna Clark-Bailey of Memphis, Tennessee.
Mary Ann met her husband, Lewis Heywood in Chicago, Illinois. They were married over 40 years until her death. Mary Ann was a homemaker, and she also loves going fishing and to garage sale, thrift shopping with friends and sometimes with her daughters. She loved taking care of people until she couldn’t do it anymore as well as doing odd jobs to help friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Alex and Mary Clark, her brothers William and Alex Clark III.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband Lewis, her six children; Ruthie Mae Alexander, Adell Banks, Bobby Ann Wilson (Bobby Wilson), Alex Lewis McKentry, Trina Lawanda McKentry, and Cyrus DeWhite McKentry. She has a host of nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
