Nellie Bent

.Nellie Bent, was a beacon of love, laughter, and faith, who graced this world for 94 splendid years. Born in the serene landscapes of Saltville, Virginia, she was the 10th of 12 children born to Alexander and Emma Fullen.  Over the years, Nellie moved to Ohio, where she met and married Duane Bent.  They eventually moved to Detroit where she truly came into her own. An epitome of strength, grace, and wit, she made an indelible mark on every soul she encountered.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Teresa Bent and Dianna (Tom) Cutts, her grandchildren Avalon, Tomas and David (Airis),  cherished great-grandchildren T'ea, Landon, Ajisai-Rose and Jiko-Ai.  And a host of nieces and nephews and loving friends.  Nellie’s love for her family was palpable and unwavering. Her God-loving nature permeated every act of kindness and every comforting word she shared.
