Russell Edward Moss Sr

Mr. Russell Edward Moss transitioned from this life on Saturday, February 5, 2023, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Russell was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on September 28, 1956, to the union of Ransom George Moss and Eula Belle Moss.

Russell received his education in the Kentwood Public School System. During high school at East Kentwood High, Russell played football and basketball.

Russell enjoyed going to sporting events, concerts, traveling, and just enjoying life.

Russell was employed at Superior Foods Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan as a leadman up until he became ill.

Russell had a close relationship with his sister, Eleanor Elaine Akil. They were inseparable.

Russell was proceeded in death by his father, Ransom George; his mother, Eula Bell Moss; his brother, Edwin Theodore Moss; his sisters, Claudette Caffey and Eleanor Elaine Akil.

Russell leaves to cherish his memories one son, Russell Edward Moss II of Douglasville, Georgia; one special friend, Priscilla (Pree) McClendon of Douglasville, Georgia; one brother, William Mac Gartmon of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
