Pastor Seraya Mbangukira was born on April 19, 1937 in Gitwa, Rwanda. He passed away April 4, 2024. He led a remarkable life that left an indelible impact on those around them. Throughout his journey, Pastor Seraya embraced love, family, and the pursuit of happiness. On August 5, 1955, he married his beloved partner, Foibe Kabudayi. Their union was filled with love, understanding, and support. Together, they built a strong foundation for their family. Their life was a testament to resilience, determination, and the power of human connection. They faced numerous challenges and obstacles throughout their lifetime, but they always found the strength to persevere.
Pastor Seraya is survived by his wife of 68 years and their five children, who brought immense joy and fulfillment to their lives. His 6 sisters (Tabeya, Foibe, Hogira, Ruth, Neliya, Odette) and 3 brothers Obed, Joseph, Enos Rutebuka and many nieces and nephews. His 5 children, Ereda Mbangukira, her 2 sons, Daliso and Yiya (married to Miranda). Second daughter Evelyn married to Manase have 2 children, Uwibambe married to Nick Pierrant and son Jimmy. His third born son Yehoyada married to Assumpta have 3 children, Ndahiro, Ineza and Iriza. Fourth born, Anna Byilingiro married to Pastor Hesron Byilingiro have 2 children Niyo and Nicky Snide married to David Snide and have 3 daughters Eves, Belle, Liv and his last born daughter Edna Mbangukira has 2 boys Niyo and Edgar.
As parents, they instilled important values in their children and guided them through the ups and downs of life. Pastor Seraya and his wife cherished every moment spent with their grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. They created beautiful memories with them and were the apple of their eye.
Pastor Seraya’s journey came to an end on April 4, 2024. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of their loved ones, but their spirit lives on through the memories and love they shared.
Pastor Seraya will be remembered as a loving spouse, a devoted parent, and a cherished grandparent and great-grandparent. His life was a testament to the power of love, family, and the lasting impact one can have on those around them. May his soul rest in eternal peace until the trumpet call to meet his God and Savior.
