We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of our father, William “Peaches” Parker,
Sr. He passed away at 72 on Sunday, February 26, 2023. Our dad enjoyed fishing, hunting,
playing spades, and listening to jazz. He graduated with a master's degree in criminology from
Eastern University. He was a talented musician, playing the organ and piano by ear. He served
on several boards in the community and attended Bethesda Baptist Church. William will be
lovingly remembered by his children, William “Will” Jr., Tiffany, and Anthony; grandchildren;
Christopher Parker Smiley, Zeshonne Parker, Antonio Parker, Jackson Parker, Ariyah Parker,
siblings; Rosie Smith, Betty Ann Bibbs, Lillian Parker-Ward, Johnnie Jones, Alice Brown,
Patricia Briggs, Linda Lewis, James Parker, a devoted friend; Zebara Humphrey, and a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. William was predeceased in death by his parents, John
and Mary Parker, Sr., and brother John Parker, Jr.
