Willie Clifton Edison, Jr. was born on June 21, 1959,
in Detroit, Michigan, to the union of Willie Clifton Edison, Sr. and Mablene Edison.
Willie grew up in Benton Harbor, Michigan, where he attended school in the Benton Harbor
Area School District. He was currently employed at Load-A-Spud Potato Bar.
Willie departed this life unexpectedly on December 13, 2025. Willie (aka Nikbag) was a
hardworking man who changed his life around for the better. All he did was work, eat, and
sleep, in that order. In his youth, he loved playing basketball.
Willie deeply treasured the moments he shared with his father before his father's passing, and
those memories remained close to his heart.
Willie leaves to cherish his memory his sisters: Louise Edison of Grand Rapids, Michigan;
Arlene Edison of Columbus, Ohio; and Deborah Edison (David Watson) of Benton
Harbor, Michigan; special friends Capucine "Shorty" Hampton and Gonzo; along with a
host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents,
Willie Clifton Edison, Sr. and Mablene Edison; his sisters Ruby Jones, Gladys Young, and Betty
Wallace; and his nieces Jurlene Edison and Reshonda Creighton.
We love and miss you, brother.
